Section 33-33-29-6 - Appointment; magistrates(a) The judge of the Hamilton circuit court and the judges of the Hamilton superior courts may jointly appoint four (4) full-time magistrates under IC 33-23-5 to serve the circuit and superior courts.(b) A magistrate continues in office until jointly removed by the judge of the Hamilton circuit court and the judges of the Hamilton superior courts.Pre-2004 Recodification Citation: 33-5-22-9.
