Section 3-8-3-7.5 - Withdrawal of candidate; deadline(a) A person who files a request for ballot placement under this chapter may file a statement prescribed under IC 3-5-4-8 stating that the person does not wish the person's name to appear on the presidential primary ballot as a candidate.(b) A statement filed under this section must be filed with the election division not later than noon seventy-five (75) days before the date set for holding the primary election.Added by P.L. 278-2019,SEC. 22, eff. 7/1/2019.
