Section 3-12-8-5.5 - Verified petition; filing fee; cause number

Upon the filing of a petition under section 5 of this chapter, the circuit court clerk shall:

(1) require payment of the filing fee under IC 33-37; and

(2) assign the petition a cause number as a miscellaneous civil action.
