Section 3-11-10-8.5 - Scanning absentee ballot application before attachment to ballot envelope; exceptions(a) This section does not apply to an application for an absentee ballot from a voter: (1) participating in the address confidentiality program under IC 5-26.5-2; or(2) requesting to cast an absentee ballot in the office of the circuit court clerk, the office of the board of elections and registration, or a satellite office.(b) Before a voter's application for an absentee ballot is attached to the ballot envelope, the application must be scanned or otherwise copied for public inspection.Amended by P.L. 109-2021,SEC. 28, eff. 4/23/2021.Added by P.L. 169-2015, SEC. 118, eff. 7/1/2015.
