Section 28-2-16-15 - Acquisition of financial institutions

Subject to the limitations of this chapter, a foreign bank holding company is entitled to acquire one (1) or more:

(1) Indiana banks;

(2) Indiana bank holding companies; or

(3) foreign bank holding companies that have acquired one (1) or more Indiana banks;

after approval by the department.
