Section 28-1-7-17 - Secretary of state; approval of articles of consolidation; issuance of certificates of consolidation and incorporationUpon the filing of the articles of consolidation, the secretary of state shall:
(1) endorse the approval of the secretary of state upon each of the copies of the articles;(2) retain one (1) copy of the articles;(3) issue a certificate of consolidation and incorporation to the new corporation; and(4) return the remaining copies of the approved articles of consolidation, together with the certificate of consolidation and incorporation, to the new corporation or to its designated agent.(Formerly: Acts 1933, c.40, s.130.)
