Section 27-8-38-6 - "HMO contract"(a) As used in this chapter, "HMO contract" means a contract under which a health maintenance organization (as defined in IC 27-13-1-19) undertakes to provide or arrange for the delivery of health care services to enrollees on a prepaid basis, except for enrollee responsibility for copayments or deductibles.(b) The term includes: (1) an individual contract (as defined in IC 27-13-1-21); and(2) a group contract (as defined in IC 27-13-1-16).Added by P.L. 170-2022,SEC. 38, eff. 7/1/2022.
