Said bond of treasurer shall be examined as to its efficiency annually by the auditor of state, and it shall then be renewed if he shall deem the present bond insufficient. Said bond shall be recorded in the recorder's office in the county in this state in which one (1) of the incorporators resides, and a certified copy of said record shall, by said recorder, be forwarded to the auditor of state, who shall file and preserve the same in his office.
