Section 27-19-4-9 - Navigator certification renewal; waiver

A certified navigator who is unable to comply with the certification renewal procedures under this chapter due to military service or another extenuating circumstance may request from the commissioner:

(1) a temporary waiver of:

(A) the renewal procedure; or

(B) an examination requirement; or

(2) a waiver of a penalty or sanction that might otherwise be imposed for failure to comply with the renewal procedures.
