Section 25-21.5-2-8 - Chairman and vice chairman; acting chairman(a) Each year the board shall elect a member as chairman and a member as vice chairman.(b) If the chairman and vice chairman are absent from a meeting of the board when a quorum exists, the members who are present may elect a presiding officer who shall serve as acting chairman until the conclusion of the meeting or until the arrival of the chairman or vice chairman.As added by P.L. 23-1991, SEC.12.
