Section 25-14.5-1-10 - "Medically prescribed diet" "Medically prescribed diet" means a diet that is:
(1) prescribed when specific food or nutrient levels need to be monitored or altered, or both, as a component of a treatment regimen for an individual whose health status is impaired or at risk due to disease, injury, or surgery; and(2) performed as initiated by or in consultation with a physician licensed to practice medicine in Indiana or ordered by a licensed dietitian.Amended by P.L. 90-2019,SEC. 21, eff. 7/1/2019.Amended by P.L. 131-2015, SEC. 2, eff. 7/1/2015.As added by P.L. 124-1994, SEC.7.
