Section 24-5-27.5-11 - "Governmental entity"

(a) As used in this chapter, "governmental entity" means any of the following:

(1) The state.

(2) A state agency (as defined in IC 1-1-15-3).

(3) A political subdivision (as defined in IC 36-1-2-13) or an instrumentality of a political subdivision (as defined in IC 36-1-2-13).

(b) The term includes an:

(1) official;

(2) agent; or

(3) employee;

of an entity listed in subsection (a).
