Section 24-4-1-1 - Discrimination; violation

A person engaged in the purchasing, manufacture, or distribution of milk or milk products who, for the purpose of destroying the business of a competitor in any locality and creating or maintaining a monopoly, discriminates between different sections, communities, or cities of this state by buying or selling milk or milk products at a lower rate in one section, community, or city than is paid or charged in another section, community, or city after equalizing the distance from the point of production, if a raw product, or from the point of manufacture, if a manufactured product, the actual cost of transportation, and making allowance for differences in quality, commits a Class B misdemeanor.
