Section 23-2-3.1-9 - Administration of chapter; regulations; immunity(a) This chapter shall be administered by the secretary of state of Indiana by and through the commissioner, who may exercise all powers granted to the commissioner under IC 23-19.(b) Subject to the approval of the secretary of state, the commissioner may promulgate regulations necessary to carry out the purposes of this chapter under IC 4-22-2.(c) Neither the secretary of state, nor the securities commissioner, nor any employee of the securities division, shall be liable in their individual capacity, except to the state of Indiana, for any act done or omitted in connection with the performance of their respective duties under the provisions of this chapter.As added by Acts1979 , P.L. 235, SEC.1.
