Section 23-14-54.5-5 - "Veteran" As used in this chapter, "veteran" means a person who:
(1) served: (A) in the active military or naval service of the United States;(B) in active duty in a force of any organized state militia in a full-time status; or(C) in the reserve armed forces of the United States on active duty; and(2) was released from the service described in subdivision (1) other than by dishonorable discharge.Added by P.L. 90-2016, SEC. 2, eff. 7/1/2016.
