Ind. Code § 22-5-4.6-2

Section 22-5-4.6-2 - "Employee"

As used in this chapter, "employee" means an individual who works for an employer on a full-time or part-time basis, either paid or unpaid. The term includes:

(1) an independent contractor;

(2) a subcontractor; and

(3) a student who works as a trainee or an intern.
