Section 20-31-8-4.6 - Certain at-risk students not included in public school calculation of school performance or graduation rate; included in eligible school graduate rate calculation(a) If a school corporation or a charter school enters into an agreement with an eligible school (as defined in IC 20-51-1-4.7) to provide dropout recovery educational services for an at-risk student who is enrolled at a public school, the student:(1) may not be included in the calculation of the public school's: (A) category or designation of school performance; and(2) shall be included in the eligible school's graduation rate calculation.(b) The state board shall adopt rules under IC 4-22-2 and any guidelines necessary to carry out this section.Amended by P.L. 9-2024,SEC. 394, eff. 7/1/2024.Amended by P.L. 246-2023,SEC. 38, eff. 7/1/2023.Added by P.L. 217-2017,SEC. 105, eff. 7/1/2017.
