Section 20-24-1-7 - "Organizer" "Organizer" means an entity that:
(1) is a nonprofit corporation that is incorporated or registered in Indiana;(2) has been recognized by the Internal Revenue Service to be tax exempt and maintains such tax exempt status; and(3) has an independent board whose members have been elected or selected under the organizer's application and that has entered into a contract under this article to operate a charter school.Pre-2005 Elementary and Secondary Education Recodification Citation: 20-5.5-1-9.
