Section 20-20-40-16 - [Effective Until 7/1/2024] Rulemaking(a) The commission: (1) shall adopt rules under IC 4-22-2; and(2) may adopt emergency rules in the manner provided under IC 4-22-2-37.1; to carry out the purposes of this chapter.
(b) An emergency rule adopted under subsection (a)(2) expires on the earlier of: (1) November 15, 2018; or(2) the effective date of a rule adopted under IC 4-22-2-22.5 through IC 4-22-2-36 that supersedes the emergency rule.Amended by P.L. 227-2017,SEC. 6, eff. 7/1/2017.Added by P.L. 122-2013, SEC. 1, eff. 4/30/2013.This section is set out more than once due to postponed, multiple, or conflicting amendments.
