Section 20-20-1-8 - Membership of board; vacancies; compensation(a) The state board shall adopt uniform rules to provide for the local selection, appointment, and continuity of membership for boards.(b) Vacancies on a board shall be filled by appointment by the remaining members of the board.(c) Members of a board serve without compensation.
