Section 2-5-1.7-2 - "Governmental entity" As used in this chapter, "governmental entity" means any of the following:
(1) Any officer or other organizational unit, by whatever name denominated, exercising any of the powers of state government.(2) A state educational institution.(3) A political subdivision (as defined in IC 36-1-2-13).(4) An instrumentality of state government or a political subdivision (as defined in IC 36-1-2-13) or other entity created by law.Added by P.L. 269-2017,SEC. 1, eff. 7/1/2017.
