Section 16-42-19-25 - Anabolic steroids; unlawful acts(a) A practitioner may not prescribe, order, distribute, supply, or sell an anabolic steroid for any of the following:(1) Enhancing performance in an exercise, sport, or game.(2) Hormonal manipulation intended to increase muscle mass, strength, or weight without a medical necessity.(b) Except as provided in section 21 of this chapter, a person who is not a practitioner or lawful manufacturer of anabolic steroids may not do any of the following: (1) Knowingly or intentionally manufacture or deliver an anabolic steroid, pure or adulterated.(2) Possess, with intent to manufacture or deliver, an anabolic steroid.Pre-1993 Recodification Citation: 16-6-8-12.
