Section 16-36-5-12 - Issuance of DNR order An out of hospital DNR order:
(1) may be issued only by the declarant's attending physician, advanced practice registered nurse, or physician assistant; and(2) may be issued only if both of the following apply:(A) The attending physician, advanced practice registered nurse, or physician assistant has determined the patient is a qualified person.(B) The patient has executed an out of hospital DNR declaration under section 11 of this chapter.Amended by P.L. 50-2021,SEC. 50, eff. 7/1/2021.As added by P.L. 148-1999, SEC.12.
