Section 16-18-2-340 - "State health commissioner"; "commissioner"(a) "State health commissioner" or "commissioner", except as otherwise provided, means the state health commissioner of the Indiana department of health.(b) For purposes of IC 16-21, IC 16-28, and IC 16-29, the term includes a deputy or an assistant state health commissioner appointed by the state health commissioner, or an agent expressly authorized by the state health commissioner.(c) For purposes of IC 16-42-1 through IC 16-42-4, the term means the state veterinarian when impounding or disposing of adulterated or misbranded products under IC 15-17-5 and IC 15-18-1.Pre-1993 Recodification Citations: 13-1-7-2(6); 16-1-14.5-1 part; 16-2-4-1 part; 16-2-5-1 part; 16-6-3-1(e); 16-6-4-7; 16-6-5-3(b); 16-6-9-2(b); 16-10-1-2.1; 16-10-2.2-8.5.
