Section 16-18-2-106.4 - "Electronically transmitted and electronic transmission"

For purposes of IC 16-42-3, IC 16-42-19, and IC 16-42-22, "electronically transmitted" or "electronic transmission" means the transmission of a prescription in electronic form. The term does not include transmission of a prescription by facsimile.
