Section 15-17-5-30 - Interference with official duties

A person who knowingly and forcibly resists, obstructs, or interferes with another person while the other person is engaged in or on account of the performance of the person's official duties under this chapter commits a Level 6 felony. However, the offense is a Level 5 felony if, while committing the offense, the person draws or uses a deadly weapon or inflicts bodily injury on any other person.
