Section 14-33-8-17 - Approval of report; payment of appraisal; possession of appropriated property

When the report of the board of appraisers regarding damages is approved by the court, the board of directors may do the following:

(1) Pay to the clerk of the court the amount of the appraisal.

(2) Take possession of and hold the interest in the real property appropriated.
