Section 14-32-6.5-13 - Elections to change boundaries or dissolve districts; simple majority required to deny

If at least a simple majority of the votes cast on the local public question are against the request set forth in the petition, the board shall, when appropriate, do the following:

(1) Certify the results of the election in the records of the board.
(2) Declare the request set forth in the petition denied.
