Section 13-21-3-12.2 - [Effective Until 7/1/2024] Additional powers of districts in certain counties(a) This section applies to a county having a population of more than one hundred eighty thousand (180,000) and less than one hundred eighty-five thousand (185,000).(b) In addition to the powers granted to a district under section 12 of this chapter, a district may make grants or loans of money, property, or services to a public or private program to plant or maintain trees in an area of the district that is a right-of-way, public property, or vacant property.Amended by P.L. 104-2022,SEC. 87, eff. 4/1/2022.Amended by P.L. 119-2012, SEC. 115, eff. 4/1/2012.As added by P.L. 98-2000, SEC.6.
