Section 13-20-4-10 - Inspection of vehicles(a) The department may inspect a vehicle for the purpose of determining compliance with this chapter.(b) The department may: (1) inspect a vehicle that is not moving; and(2) not stop a vehicle that is in motion on a public highway (as defined in IC 9-25-2-4 ) only to conduct an inspection;
