Section 12-27-8-2 - Action; court having jurisdiction; money damages for willful or wanton violations(a) An individual whose rights were violated or a person authorized by statute to act on the individual's behalf may bring an action.(b) An action under this section shall be brought in a court that has jurisdiction.(c) In an action under this section, money damages may be awarded only for willful or wanton violation of the rights recognized by this article.Pre-1992 Revision Citation: 16-14-1.6-10(1).
