Section 11-8-5-0.5 - "Compelling public interest" As used in this chapter, "compelling public interest" means any condition in which there is a question of:
(1) the proper appropriation or expenditure of public funds;(2) the official conduct of public employees or any person who provides goods or services to the state for financial compensation under contract or other agreement;(3) the suitability for receiving a public trust or benefits; or(4) the public safety or welfare.Added by P.L. 10-2019,SEC. 50, eff. 7/1/2019.
