Section 415 ILCS 5/59.4 - Report on the status and impact of carbon capture and sequestrationBeginning July 1, 2029, and every 5 years thereafter, the Agency shall submit a report to the Governor and General Assembly that includes, for each carbon dioxide capture project in this State:
(1) the amount of carbon dioxide captured on an annual basis;(2) the means for transporting the carbon dioxide to a sequestration or utilization facility;(3) the location of the sequestration or utilization facility used;(4) the electrical power consumption of the carbon dioxide capture equipment; and(5) the generation source or sources providing electrical power for the carbon dioxide capture equipment and the emissions of CO2 and criteria pollutants of the generation source or sources.Added by P.A. 103-0651,§ 55, eff. 7/18/2024.
