Section 50 ILCS 835/6 - Maintenance charge

The board of directors may impose a maintenance charge upon the estate of any person with a developmental disability receiving the benefits of the facilities or services prescribed in Section 1 of this Act. If the estate of such person is insufficient, the parent or parents of such person are liable for the payment of the amount due.
