Section 20 ILCS 850/1 - Transfer of jurisdiction to Department of Natural Resources

The jurisdiction over and the control and management of the Illinois and Michigan Canal is transferred from the Department of Transportation to the Department of Natural Resources (formerly designated the Department of Conservation).
