Section 20 ILCS 605/605-915 - Assisting local governments to achieve lower borrowing costs

To cooperate with the Illinois Finance Authority in assisting local governments to achieve overall lower borrowing costs and more favorable terms under the Illinois Finance Authority Act, including using the Department's federally funded Community Development Assistance Program for those purposes.
