Section 110 ILCS 925/3.06 "Eligible dental student" means a person who meets all of the following qualifications:
(a) That the individual is a resident of this State and a citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States;(b) That the individual has been accepted in a dental school located in Illinois;(c) That the individual exhibits financial need as determined by the Department;(d) That the individual has earned an educational diploma at an institution of education located in this State or has been a resident of the State for no less than 3 years prior to applying for the grant;(e) That the individual is a member of a racial minority as defined in Section 3.07; and(f) That the individual meets other qualifications which shall be established by the Department.Amended by P.A. 102-1030,§ 45, eff. 5/27/2022.
