Section 105 ILCS 5/2-3.138 - [Renumbered from 105 ILCS 5/2-3.137] School Health Recognition ProgramThe State Board of Education shall establish a school health recognition program that:
(1) publicly identifies those schools that have implemented programs to increase the level of physical activity of their students; (2) publicly identifies those schools that have adopted policies or implemented programs to promote healthy nutritional choices for their students; and (3) allows recognized schools to share best practices and model services with other schools throughout the State.Renumbered from 105 ILCS 5/2-3.137 by P.A. 095-0331,§ 540, eff. 8/21/2007.Added by P.A. 094-0190, § 5, eff. 7/12/2005.
