Section 54-1912 - [Effective 7/1/2024] EXPIRATION AND RENEWAL OF LICENSES - FEES
(1) All contractors required by the provisions of this section to be licensed, shall be licensed for a period of twenty-four (24) consecutive calendar months. License renewal shall be in accordance with the provisions of section 67-2614, Idaho Code.

(2) Application for renewal of a current license prior to its expiration date shall authorize operation as a contractor by such licensee until actual issuance of such renewal license for the ensuing twenty-four (24) months or until the final decision of the board is rendered in any proceeding. An applicant for renewal of a license issued under this chapter shall not be required to take any other or further examination to obtain such renewal license, provided that at the time of such application his license has not been suspended or permitted to lapse or expire for any cause for a period of one (1) year or more. All applications for renewal of license shall be made on forms prescribed by the administrator and shall be accompanied by the renewal fee and a complete current financial statement on such forms and disclosing such information as shall be required by rule, duly certified as true by the applicant, and if a copartnership, limited liability company or limited liability partnership by a member thereof, and if a corporation, by its executive or financial officer; such renewal application shall be filed prior to the first day of such renewal licensing period. Fees accompanying renewal applications under this section are for the administration and enforcement of the provisions of this chapter and shall not be refunded to the applicant.
(3) The license issued under this chapter shall be signed both by the administrator and by the licensee, shall be nontransferable, and shall be displayed in the licensee's main office or chief place of business, and satisfactory evidence of the possession thereof and of the current renewal thereof shall be exhibited by licensee upon demand.
(4) A surviving member or members of a licensed copartnership, limited liability company or limited liability partnership by reason of death shall be entitled to continue in business under such license until the expiration date thereof, provided due application for permission is made to the administrator within thirty (30) days after death of the member, and the application is approved by the administrator in accordance with rules.
(5) All licensees shall report to the administrator all changes of personnel, name style or addresses recorded under this chapter within thirty (30) days after the changes are made.
