Section 41-3414 - SERVICES AND BENEFITS WHICH MAY BE PROVIDED - HOSPITAL SERVICE CORPORATIONS(1) A hospital service corporation shall have the right to provide to its subscribers part or all of the following services and benefits only: (a) Hospital services furnished to the subscriber by participant hospitals;(b) Indemnity in reasonable amount with respect to hospital services furnished to the subscriber by nonparticipant hospitals, but subject to section 41-3408(3) (qualifications for authority); and(c) Indemnity in reasonable amount for other health care services, as defined in section 41-3403(1), but in no event shall such indemnity benefits be provided of a value in excess of seventy-five percent (75%) of the premium charged for hospital service and hospital indemnity benefits.(2) This section shall not be deemed to prohibit such a corporation from acting as compensated servicing agent as to health care services to be provided by any public agency, or under agreements between other parties not solicited by such corporation.[41-3414, added 1961, ch. 330, sec. 772, p. 645.]
