Section 30-22-201 - MERGER AUTHORIZED(a) Except as otherwise provided in this section, by complying with this part: (1) One (1) or more domestic entities may merge with one (1) or more domestic or foreign entities into a domestic or foreign surviving entity; and(2) Two (2) or more foreign entities may merge into a domestic entity.(b) Except as otherwise provided in this section, by complying with the provisions of this part applicable to foreign entities, a foreign entity may be a party to a merger under this part or may be the surviving entity in such a merger if the merger is authorized by the law of the foreign entity's jurisdiction of formation.[30-22-201, added 2015, ch. 243, sec. 18, p. 790.]Added by 2015 Session Laws, ch. 243,sec. 18, eff. 7/1/2015.
