Section 18-5614 - [Effective Until 7/1/2024] PATRONIZING A PROSTITUTE(1) A person is guilty of patronizing a prostitute when he or she: (a) Pays or offers or agrees to pay another person a fee for the purpose of engaging in an act of sexual conduct or sexual contact;(b) Enters or remains in a house of prostitution for the purpose of engaging in sexual conduct or sexual contact.(2) Patronizing a prostitute is a misdemeanor, provided that a third or subsequent conviction therefor shall be a felony.[18-5614, added 1977, ch. 175, sec. 3, p. 451; am. 1994, ch. 130, sec. 13, p. 295.]This section is set out more than once due to postponed, multiple, or conflicting amendments.
