This chapter, and any rules adopted by the department pursuant to this chapter, shall apply only to the processing of hemp biomass into crude extract or into a manufactured hemp product or processing crude extract into a manufactured hemp product or using a manufactured hemp product as an ingredient in the production of another manufactured hemp product, and to their sale and distribution, but shall not apply to other products that may be produced from hemp except as otherwise provided in section 328G-3.
