The privilege established under G.S. 8-58.53 is not applicable in any criminal proceeding.

Added by 2015 N.C. Sess. Laws 286,s. 4.1-a, eff. upon the date approval to implement Article 7D of Chapter 8 of the General Statutes, Environmental Audit Privilege and Limited Immunity, is received from the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
