Section 25-NEW - [Newly enacted section not yet numbered] Report regarding Small Harbor Improvement Projects Program, dredging, marketing, and staffing

Not later than January 1, 2025, and quarterly thereafter, the Connecticut Port Authority shall submit a report, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, to the joint standing committees of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to transportation and appropriations and the budgets of state agencies that shall include the following:

(1) A description of the authority's work to support grants under the Small Harbor Improvement Projects Program;

(2) a description of the authority's dredging activities and the needs concerning dredging in harbors in the state;

(3) a description of the authority's marketing activities on behalf of maritime communities in the state; and

(4) a staffing plan to handle the needs of the authority.
