Section 19a-202a - Requirements re municipality designating itself as having a part-time health department

Any municipality may designate itself as having a part-time health department if:

(1) The municipality has not had a full-time health department or been in a full-time health district as of January 1, 1998, and
(2) the municipality has the equivalent of at least one full-time employee, as determined by the Commissioner of Public Health, who performs public health functions required by the general statutes and the regulations of Connecticut states agencies.
