Section 17a-835 - (Formerly Sec. 17b-650e). Department of Aging and Disability Services. Assistance for deaf and hard of hearing persons

The Department of Aging and Disability Services may provide necessary services to persons who are deaf or hard of hearing, including, but not limited to, nonreimbursable interpreter services and message relay services for persons using telecommunication devices for persons who are deaf.
