Section 14-314c - Erection of signs to warn operators of presence of persons who are deaf. Regulations
(a) The Office of the State Traffic Administration, on any state highway, or a local traffic authority, on any highway under its control, shall, upon receipt of an application on behalf of any person under the age of eighteen who is deaf, as certified by a physician, a physician assistant or an advanced practice registered nurse, erect one or more signs in the person's neighborhood to warn motor vehicle operators of the presence of such person.
(b) The Office of the State Traffic Administration may adopt regulations in accordance with the provisions of chapter 54 to carry out the purposes of this section.
