Section 10-211c - Administration of peer-to-peer mental health support program by health departments, social service agencies, youth organizations

On and after July 1, 2023, any local health department, district department of health, youth service bureau established pursuant to section 10-19m of the general statutes, municipal social service agency or other youth-serving organization approved by the Department of Children and Families, in collaboration with the Department of Education, may administer the peer-to-peer mental health support program developed pursuant to section 34 of this act. The entity administering the program shall select one or more employees to complete the training described in section 34 of this act. The program shall be provided to participating students in grades six to twelve, inclusive.
