(c) Every license issued by the division of professional regulation to license holders born in odd years shall expire on the birthday of the individual qualifying for the license in odd years and all licenses issued by the division of professional regulation to license holders born in even years shall expire on the birthday of the individual qualifying for the license in even years and all licenses may be renewed on or before their expiration date, upon payment of the appropriate fee. If any credit is due in the initial changeover year the amount of credit shall be determined by the chief administrator of the division.R.I. Gen. Laws § 28-27-17
